I could not stay awake past 8 last night, pitiful... so I gave in. I woke around 3 and was wide awake for a good hour before I nodded off again, then was out cold til 8. I love being able to sleep without worries of an alarm going off, or something i have to be up for. If this is what retirement is going to be like, I can't wait!

I'm off to Cox Cable as the cable box in the bedroom is misbehaving. We'd be watching one show and then it changed to another. Hit our show on the guide button and nothing. Started watching a show in Spanish which would have been fine if I spoke Spanish.

They did say our recorded programs would be lost. That is unacceptable. I have Packer games recorded. Not all of them but the ones that matter. Of course for a nominal fee of $15.00 a month they can save everything. Right.

As long as the one in the living room is working, I still have my shows. I won't mention the fact it just quit......

Damn, OAKIE, Cox sounds as bad as TWC or ComCast. How is it that the content has to be "deleted," but would be available for a monthly charge? That's ludicrous. That's what all cable companies must be. They have no soul. It's all about the money.

My FUCK YOU! check cleared no problem. Next time it'll be "FUCK TWC!" Instead of going crazy over the bullshit that their call centers peddle, a friend suggested I go to the TWC payment center on Durand and talk to someone in person. I'll be nice, but persistent. Hopefully, we can find the best promotion for my needs. TWC must be the most promotion producing company in the world.

I got the new cable box just by handing them the old one. No sales pitch. I guess they are moving to the cloud.
Apparently they are still experiencing problems as we cannot get channels 714 thru 790. I guess we will call the hot line tomorrow.

Still have all my shows in the living room.

Daddy Orbs call them and see what kind of package deal you can get for the same price for a year. I do that all the time and my bill is the same for a year.
