Last week I had to go to my ear Dr. as I'm having some issues. My appointment was at 2:40 p.m. When I got there, the sign in sheet said my Dr. was the only one seeing patients that day. (Friday prior to Memorial Day).
I looked around and there were 6 people ahead of me. I got in at 3:35. Not too happy.

On Tuesday, hubby had a 4:15 appointment for cataract surgery. We had to be there by 2:45. His surgery started at 5:45. That being said, the follow up yesterday morning was at 8:15 and we were out by 8:45.

It drives me batty that they don't make "time" for problems.

Okay, I'm done.

OKIE- That is how the doctors are around here too. If you get an early appointment you get in right away and if you have one later in the day you have to wait because they get behind schedule.

You are so right THB. The thing that bothers me the most is he couldn't eat all day. Didn't want him to drink anything either. Doesn't make any sense.

On the way home we were going to stop at KFC and just as I was going to turn he told me we needed to go home. Apparently he was having one major hot flash and felt sick. I stifled a smile and headed home.

What I hate is receiving a robocall reminding me of my doctor's appointment and telling me to arrive 15 minutes early. If they wanted me there 15 minutes earlier, then they should have made the appointment for 15 minutes earlier. The doctors are gods and we're supposed to bend over backwards for them.

Will someone PLEASE do my laundry?

OK, so I finally did the laundry. Caution: when you live in an apartment building, check the washers before you put in your load. I loaded one washer with my whites and added bleach after it started agitating. When I come back later to put the stuff in the dryer, I noticed that my whites looked pretty dingy. It turns out that someone left a black sock in the washer. Mental note: ALWAYS check the washers and dryers before loading. Shit.

Orbs

Trust me when I tell you it was better than a red sock.

Everything comes out pink then, right?
