Yesterday I went outside to fill the bird feeder and when I opened the canister a mouse jumped out. Sneaky little critters. I have a bucket that I put the feed in to carry over to the tree and it was on top of the container. How that mouse got in there is beyond me. He's probably hiding from the 3-4 cats we now have lurking back there. Always an adventure.

OKIE, when I had bird feeders my biggest problem was the squirrels. Mice can squeeze themselves into the tiniest spots. I never heard of a mouse in a feeder before, but I suppose it makes sense.

Orbs - he wasn't in the feeder, he was in the container where I store it. That being said, the squirrels are having a field day with the feeder. Right now on top of the light post, there are two cats. I think I just stopped them from fighting.

OKIE- Mice are the sneakiest little pain in the butts. They will get into anything. Check the canister to see if the mouse chewed a hole in it. We have are bird feed in a cooler and it is metal.

With are bird feeder we have a problem with the house sparrows and the squirrels.
