Walmart Bacon

I do most of my food shopping at the Walmart Neighborhood Mart.  I prefer the Malicki Bros' Piggly Wiggly.  They have a beautiful store, but I can't afford them.

Recently, I was at Walmart and I was buying bacon.  I can't believe the price of this stuff.  I looked and looked and finally pulled out a pack of Walmart bacon.  It was a buck or two cheaper than my regular stuff.  It looked fine.  I decided to try it out.  Somewhere in the back of my head a voice said, "You'll be sorry."

The voice, of course, was correct.  I've never had bacon before where you can cook it for 20 minutes and it still remains soft.  I don't like my bacon burnt, but I do like it crisp.  This Walmart bacon must have come from a pig that was exposed to some sort of radiation.  You can cook it for half an hour and it's still good as a flat tire plug.

Three times I tried to eat this stuff.  I finally threw it away and bought my regular bacon.  What a money saver, huh?

Bacon has Nitrates and is bad for you.

I love Pasta and Meatballs - and Michaelango's has some great Baked Ziti & Meatballs - buy the larger portion to save on price per serving and eat for days! It's like Deep Dish Pizza without so much bread!

Also check out Marie Callender's at $2.50 a meal; choose wisely, and you'll find some good stuff there.

Also Hungry Man Mega - Bowls.

The Drunk Chef also recommends: Eggs, Potatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Bulk Cheese of any kind, Veggies as desired, cubes of Ham, and Canned Beans, such as Great Northern or others.

Start the stove, grease skillet and place on burner. Get out some eggs, and what ya want to throw into them - cut up into chunks all that stuff you're going to throw into them, mix it all up- and WA-LA! Gourmet Heaven.

Note that if you're going to add potatoes, you need to prepare them first.

For Dessert - add a FROZEN Little Debbie Swiss Roll Cake!

Also - for an excellent treat - microwave a whole potato (saves time) - split open and toss on shredded cheese/butter and veggies - ENJOY!

Well, Orbs, if you've been left with no choice but to eat Dog Food...

Here are some brands I can suggest:

Dozens Of Dog Food Brands Recalled After Euthanasia Drug Found:

CBS Local — After an investigation reportedly uncovered a drug used for euthanizing animals inside various brands of dog food, a massive recall has been issued by multiple companies.

The J.M. Smucker Company issued a voluntary recall of several types of their “Gravy Train,” “Kibbles ‘N Bits,” and “Skippy” wet dog food products. In a memo to retailers, obtained by, J.M. Smucker said the move was being made “because a minor ingredient may contain low levels of pentobarbital.”

Pentobarbital is a sedative used to treat insomnia but can also induce death when given in large doses. The sedative is a known euthanasia drug given to pets when they are put to sleep. Smucker’s memo claims that the amount detected was “extremely low” and did not pose a risk to pets, however, its presence was “not acceptable.”

RECALL ALERT: Gravy Train, Kibbles ‘N Bits, & Skippy Dog Foods Recalled Due to Presence of Euthanasia Drug

According to reports, 60 percent of Gravy Train samples in an independent test came back positive for pentobarbital. “Please know our internal investigation into this situation is ongoing. We take this very seriously and are extremely disappointed that pentobarbital was introduced to our supply chain,” Gravy Train officials said in a statement after 10 different types of the brand were recalled.

The FDA is also investigating the euthanasia drug contamination after finding the chemical in Evanger’s dog and cat food. The Illinois-based company recalled its “Hunk of Beef” products when FDA officials found the drug in a shipment of dog food cans manufactured between June 6 and June 13, 2016.

“Pentobarbital can affect animals that ingest it, and possibly cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, or nausea, or in extreme cases, possibly death,” U.S. health officials warn.

In the late morning I eat one fried egg, one strip bacon, and one slice toasted and buttered Italian bread.

In the early evening I have a pot pie. Sometimes a piece of buttered bread with it.

I'm down to 185 lbs. I once weighed 220 lbs. My pants falling off has become a real issue. I bet I look cool to the other gangsters.

One of those guys with the pants halfway down his ass showed up at my shrink's office with his mother the last time I was there. I didn't want to stare, but I want to know what mechanism keeps such pants in place. It's probably a secret that whitey can't know.
