Why don't the police follow local law?

Possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana for personal use is already a minor offense in Racine, punishable by citation.  Instead, the police seek state charges against pot smokers.  This has been going on for 20 years.  Why do the police want to destroy families and ignore the will of the people in the city where they work?  C'mon Chief Art Howell, stop destroying the little guys and go after our corrupt local officials who cause a thousand times the problems that pot smokers do.  Why do our police hate our citizens?

"The statistical element of this claim is somewhat complicated, but largely accurate. According to figures published by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the number of people in homelessness in Colorado actually fell by 34.8 percent between January 2012 (before the law changed) and January 2017. That’s the ninth biggest decrease in homelessness in the country during that period." https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/legal-cannabis-colorado/

We are sick of lies about pot.

Your Mayor Cory Mason is in charge of the Police - Why don't you ask him?

(8)  Mayor.
(a) The mayor shall be the chief executive officer. The mayor shall take care that city ordinances and state laws are observed and enforced and that all city officers and employees discharge their duties.

But the real reason is that Prosecution for Profit is in play in WI.

Enjoy your crummy Neighborhoods, crooked Police, and carpetbagging Mayor.

I sent Cory an email asking him why.

That's some fine looking weed in the pic.
