Dear Madame Zoltar

Hello, my dears!  How are you?  Are you ready for temperatures in the 50's?  That's what we're supposed to have today and tomorrow.  I love it.  I'm fed up with winter and the s-word.  Spring has sprung, so let's keep the temps out of the 30's please.  Of course, in the middle of August, I'll be complaining about the heat.  But that's then and this is now.  Warm it up.  We deserve it.

I want to express my condolences to Tender Heart Bear, who lost her mother the other night.  Be strong, my dear, and take solace in the rest of your family.  I'm sure that Mr. Drew is being helpful.

Next week is the election.  Please remember to write-in Sandy Weidner for mayor and vote for Ricky Jarstad in the 3rd District.  We must elect people who reflect our values and are not tainted by temptations to rip us off.  With the moral decline of society, it's getting harder and harder to find the honest type willing to serve.  So we should support the few that we have.  Kill 'em, Sandy and Ricky.

Note: the bearded lady has suddenly been keeping a low profile.  What's up, Attorney Letteny?  Still trying to pull your foot out of your mouth?  You should be prosecuted for the crimes you've committed while in office.  You're as dirty as any criminal out there.

Did Mayor Butterball announce an expansion of his staff?  Why not?  Living high on the taxpayers' dime are we?  It's good to be "king," isn't it?  Just keep scamming the taxpayers.  You'll get yours.

Junior is still license-less and he's beginning to get underfoot.  I worried about him driving, but I must admit I enjoyed the solitude at home.  I just wish it didn't come at such a price.  Car crashes are expensive.  And the insurance goes up and up.

I wish the grass would hurry up and turn green.  I can't wait for the budding of trees and shrubs.  And the songs of birds - I absolutely love them.  They're the harbingers of spring.  Sing on, my little buddies.

Here's a little spring music from Vivaldi:

My, that sounds so formal.  I'm bringing culture to the JTI.  Too bad I have so little of my own.

That's it, friends.  I'm ending this so I can enjoy some of the weather.

Have fun.  Spring is just beginning and there's so much more that will happen in the landscape and with the weather.  And, or course, we might still see some s-word, but it will melt quickly.  Enjoy.
