Dear Madame Zoltar

Merry Christmas, my lovelies!  How are you?  I hope that the holidays find you in good spirits.  Christmas is the number one holiday.  I hope that we observe it with the reverence that it deserves.  However, I love a lot of the secular aspects of Christmas, too.  It's all good.  The Birth of Jesus Christ and the coming of Santa Claus.  It's like Easter: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Easter bunny.  Who would have thunk it?

Hurrah, hurrah!  Our heroic and vainglorious Green Bay Packers defeated the Minnesota Vikings in their home.  Next, the wondrous Packers face the Detroit Lions in Detroit this coming Sunday at noon.  This is the last game of the regular season for the dumbfounded Packers.  Packers beat Vikings 23-10 to clinch NFC North, stay in race for No. 1 seed said the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel online.  Hurrah, hurrah!

The season is over in the Irregular Fantasy Football League.  As in previous seasons, the Half-Astrophysicists have won first place.  I took fifth place and Mr. OrbsCorbs took fourth:

In keeping with Mr. Mayor Cory 'Butterball' Mason's Christmas spirit, both Tex Reynolds Toys for Tots and Car25 are screwed.  Thank you, Grinch Mason.  Butterball may protest that it's not his fault, but the fact is that he could solve both dilemmas almost instantly.  Instead, he leaves these nonprofits dangling in the wind.  Screw you, Butterball!

The word on the street is that some city department wants the space that Toys for Tots now occupies in the City Hall Annex's basement.  If that's the case, then why doesn't the city just say so?  We'll find another space for Toys for Tots.  The city can put whatever they want in the Annex's basement.  Why is the city's first move always something underhanded?  Can you imagine what it would be like if Racine's government was above board?  That's what HOT Government is all about.  It might pay off to attend a meeting of Hot Government.  Hmmm.

I hope that whatever your occupation is, that you don't have to work on Christmas.  I understand and appreciate that some emergency services must be staffed no mater what.  Police must patrol.  Fire stations must be staffed.  Hospitals must be staffed.  And so on.  Thank you to all who must work/serve on Christmas.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Here is our Christmas tree:

Isn't it gorgeous?  All lit up and decorated with ornaments and snow.  Merry Christmas!  Merry, Merry Christmas!  And Peace on Earth.  That's the tough one.  That's the one we need to continually pray for.  Amen.

This is my favorite Christmas song:

Señor Zanza, Junior, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!  Happy Holidays!

Enjoy the season.  Don't drink and drive!  Spend time with family and friends.  Love, love to everybody!

I think the Half-Astrophysicists have taken the title in every season of the Irregular Fantasy Football League. I suspect bribery of the officials. I expected second place, or at least third. Wah wah wah!

Merry Christmas!
