did some shopping online yesterday.. will probably head out today, but pretty much just because I need to get to the pharmacy and pick up a present I got for Toff for Fathers Day (here in Sweden Fathers day was 2 weeks ago) that is finally done way past the date they gave me.. But it's not crazy here like it is there today..... well that might be a lie.. yesterday was pay day for everyone (everyone is pretty much paid on the 25th of every month) so I'm sure it will be crazier than normal.
Sunday is the first Advent and that usually kicks off the holiday season.

I might break down...I want to clean my carpets and might rent a carpet cleaner...does that count as buying something? Gotta do that sort of thing when you have an extra day off work!
slept in and enjoyed it very much, declared today jammie day, and that's the way it's staying!! I do need to get lizard greens sometime today, it can wait for the crazies to go home 1st...
Oh, SER... I know I'm blond, but did you really think you needed to explain the Amish joke to me?
My screen resolution cut off the caption about Black Friday. I figured out the picture wasn't going to appear when I scrolled down. :) Give me a break, my eyes were still fuzzy with sleep!
Something was wrong with our building's boiler. It was freaking cold last night and this morning in the apartment. I have west facing windows (old and drafty) with nothing to block the wind. I hope they got it fixed. Seems warmer now
No, the owner is trying for one. First the building has to qualify. I can't remember the percentage (60% ?), but enough residents have to be low income (by WHEAP standards, I believe). There's probably other hoops he has to jump through, too. But the payoff includes weatherization of the building, replacing some appliances with energy efficient ones, and a new, energy efficient boiler.
