  2. If Beejay is coming with, you think maybe we could pick her up in Atlanta? If we go to Florida, the bus might get stolen.

  3. Yes, get the h - e - double-hockey-sticks out of here ahead of the storm. If we have to, we can beam other passengers on board with this transporter device that I made with plans from the Internet and old television parts. It works pretty good as long as it isn't too stormy outside and the antenna is pointed in the right direction.

  4. Drew, with the storm that's coming, you NEED a lead foot to get us out of here in time :)

  5. Don't worry,I had Hale-bopp install these turbo boost rockets on the bus. We should be going from 0 to 200 mph in 5.3 secnds!

  6. I will jack up the heat on the pool...the hot tub is perking away...I have a fresh bottle of pina colada mix and an unopened bottle of Bacardi Rum....I'm good.

Abby, I also have some wine and I'll find those plastic cubes, if you insist.

Nah, the bus is too mod to be swiped down here....it is not food nor a cooking utensil.

  7. Who is that crazy looking little green guy in front of the bus in the picture? Is that SER?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Time to see the gators...mmmmm! Gator!

    ReplyDelete
  9. If it isn't SER, it must be the brownies again.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Why don't they have giant hair dryers out on the roads instead of salt trucks?

    Just wondering.

    ReplyDelete
  11. We do have a joint called 'Gators' here and yes, they do serve 'gator bites...' Nope, never tried them...something about the way they smell from afar!

  12. I think the green guy is anonymous, not the naked one, but the other one...

    ReplyDelete
  13. Liz I don't know about this bus you picked out. Looks to me the only video you could watch is non-stop "Barney".

    ReplyDelete
  14. Well, I do have some of the stars from the 'GEICO' commercial, but no purple ones. And I don't want any either! Wasn't there a book by Carl Haiisen about a purple vole??? Anyone else remember it...flew out of a truck and landed on a woman's lap.....and it all went downhill from there.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I love you, you love me.......

OK, so I got a REALLY good deal on the bus is we took Barney with us but on the way back to town, I stopped off and had the Purple guy run in for munchies and I floored it, I think he's still somewhere in Baraboo, maybe they'll add him to the circus train!

  16. Hate to tell you all... The naked anonymous is sitting in the back seat, and that isn't Barney he has on the DVD! Yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  17. That was Native Tongue by Carl Hiassen where the voles got out. I think you should all stop at the next bookstore and pick up a Carl Hiaasen novel.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I love Carl Hiaasen's books...are we anywhere near spelling his name right? He is so funny...Yes, it was 'Native Tongue.' I really enjoy his books...and you guys who saw "Strip Tease" with Demi Moore probably laughed at the plot as well.

Aw, guys, you should really come on down...I am a pretty decent cook and I would feed you...just have to get some 'port-a-potties.'

    ReplyDelete
  19. um...lizardmom...isn't baraboo in the opposite direction??? I thought we were going to FL??

    ReplyDelete
  20. umm, froglover, I still had to rent and PICK up the bus... couldn't find a cool one in town, so it was a pre-road trip to get the bus, now get on the bus, avoid anon in the back and stop picking on me :(

    ReplyDelete
  21. Beejay,I'm getting everybody there as fast as I can! Hang on everybody! VROOOM!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Drew, I am setting up the barbie and the fireplace is full of logs (that's for me...you guys are used to that cool weather)....
I have all the noodles in the pool and jacked up the temp for you...I am set...how many steaks do I need....I'm set.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just think of those poor suckers in Wisconsin getting up to a foot of snow tonight.

Beejay, I'll take my steak medium, please.

  24. And here I thought I was traveling incognito...

  25. Sorry I'm late everyone, its been busy. I have to admit to spending a little too much time watching the puppies on ustream but they are too cute. And, I think this might be their last weekend that we can see them.
I am so glad that I don't live in Wisconsin today.

  26. We must be getting close to Florida - at the last rest stop, a guy stuck a gun in my ribs and said, "Your eggbeater or your life."

My home made transporter is warmed up and ready to beam aboard anyone who wants to join. Because it's made from old TV parts, though, you'll only appear in black and white on the bus.

I'm going to Diz Nee World.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Cool, I'm already black and white (and blue) I fell on the ice.... :(

    ReplyDelete
  28. I went out just to shovel a little spot to throw birdseed and peanuts for my friends, and I fell, too.

I'm gonna cannonball into Beejay's hot tub!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Orbs, my hot tub is in a separate lanai from the pool....privacy is granted....I even put a chiminea out there for those cool evenings in the low 70's high 60's....

I now thing I need a wall-mounted flat screen TV and I'll be all set....

    ReplyDelete
  30. 'think' not 'thing' Oh, hell, I'm going shopping again!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Orbs your right we must be near Fla. That last truck stop we were at, I ordered some apple juice. The guy behind the counter told me I was in luck, he had a whole fridge full of little cups......

    ReplyDelete
  32. I got stuck in the driveway this morning trying to make it to the bus:-( Sorry guys! (seriously, my poor little car is still out there even tho you an barely see it since it's covered with snow-- ack! Hope I can get it out before spring sometime)
So you'll need to beam me up, LM (p.s. loved your work story from the other day, hubba hubba~)! Hope I make it in time for dinner, medium rare for me; I'll whip up a dessert when I get there, k?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Lets get this buggy moving before I have to pee again.....

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ser, you replinishing the 'apple juice' for that fridge????

  35. Beejay, we had abot 12 inches of snow and it is predicted to go down to -40 degrees wind chill tonight. Be prepared, someone might "pop you one" for that last comment. lol

    ReplyDelete
  36. My brother is down here from Richland Center and plans to pop in today...he is happy to be missing this weather. They leave Monday for their return drive (yuck). Silly people drove their caddy down here...I didn't know that those cars didn't have front-wheel drive.

Me, I love a party...so come on down...

In the meantime, guys, remember to be careful removing that snow.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hi all am I too late to ride?.......Wouldn't you know always a day late and a dollar short...........

    ReplyDelete
  38. Abby, you're never too late to join the fun! Is everybody having a good time?

    ReplyDelete
  39. come on guys, please behave or Beejay will kick us out and we'll have nowhere to go :( Orbs, skinny dipping in the hot tub, SER belly-flopping in the pool, kk and logjam fighting over the crayons again, Beejay, I hope you still love us after our visit! I think all the warm air has had a funny effect on us, so sorry :(
Drew, nice job parallel parking this bus! Abby, Cyndi and Mary glad you made it! Oh no, there goes Orbs, streaking again...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Temps are dropping here tonight to mid-50s, then only a high of 70 tomorrow...I will jack up the pool again, guys....

Seriously, though, please be careful in all that cold (40 below wind-chill...) I don't miss those windchills at all...ours might get to 35 or something one night at some time during early January.

The door to Beejay's house is always open to all of you...honest.

    ReplyDelete
  41. "only a high of 70 tomorrow"

only a high of 70? man, that sounds pretty good to me. Above 30 degrees sounds pretty good right now, mid-50's - even better!
