  3. I'll be there. I'll bring something... maybe potato salad and something sweet?

    ReplyDelete
  4. I will be there...however, please resend the email. It was in my spam folder and when I told my program it was not spam, it completely disappeared and did not magically reappear in my normal mail folder.

Not sure what to bring.. maybe I can bring some soda?? anything else??? I have a bridal shower to go to that day (a childhood friend otherwise I would blow it off) so I don't know how long I can stay but would love to see you all again, don't know if I will be around for the next gathering or not.

  18. KK. you really don't want to be around me in the morning. Not a good 'first impression' for you guys. LOL

  19. A winter gathering here is a wonderful idea.....how many portajohns should I order?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think we need hale to do the math ratio... liquids in / liquids out. ;>

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hale, start calculating!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. ok folks, there is a chance of rain Saturday, taking ideas for a contingency plan, what do you think if we get rained out??

    ReplyDelete
  23. We get wet, or we crash the party that has the shelter reserved?

    Weather Channel report:
    High: 82 °F RealFeel®: 83 °F
Mostly cloudy and warm with a couple of showers and thunderstorms possible.

  24. Everyone bring a raincoat and an umbrella, and couple for the grills? Anyone got tents? We could all wear swimsuits, but I swear you wouldn't want to eat after seeing me.

NWS says 40% showers at this point, but the weather's been changing by the hour the last couple of weeks. I always say their forecasts are only good for 36 hours or less.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm feeling that soda is a bit weak to bring.. is there something that is missing that I can bring instead. I swear my head has been so far in the clouds these past couple of weeks I really dont know what is going on.. please help.. .

    ReplyDelete
  26. WHY NOT ...you're not prego again are ya?....thats a sign of it!
I hope for no rain for you guys...please hope for no rain for Beejay and me! I leave 6 am wed. land 11:30 in Florida!...Try not to miss me too much!...............Beejay do you have KK's # or Sers? We should do a dail a drink with them!

    ReplyDelete
  27. DIAL.what a dumbass......NO I'M NOT PREGO.........lol

    ReplyDelete
  28. I will have cookies and a 10x10 tent "JUST IN CASE"

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just like the weather.......... there is a 60/40 chance we will be there. If we are in town we will find you. And I wouldn't bank on the weather forecast..

    ReplyDelete
  30. OH Abby, dont say that.. what a scary thought.. I think I'm just air headed..

    ReplyDelete
  31. from what I understand, the rain is to come in the afternoon, hopefully on the later side, so I'm going to be optimistic that it will work out fine for us, and Fungi has a tent that could be great fun.

If it starts to downpour and we want to keep going and the shelter is taken, we could come back out our house for a game afternoon or something.

Here is to hoping that Milwaukee gets the rain and we don't! :)

  32. Someone has to crash the party, so I'll do that. Sorry I held off so long, but had been eyeing an auction to the North. Finally decided I have enough toys.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not a big fan of Polish sausage, so I'm bringing a dozen brats and buns along with the chips, Doritos, charcoal and lighter fluid. I'll only eat one or two, so the other ten are up for grabs.

My mother says it will rain slightly very early in the morning, then again much later in the day, leaving us with a perfect time. If it doesn't work out, blame her.

Who's bringing the condiments and napkins and paper plates?

    ReplyDelete
  34. thanks again to Beejay and the last gathering, I have plates, napkins, cutlery, cups and probably more, that I am bringing.
I have ketchup (out of mustard tho)
    and also have onion .
I also have a bag of pretzels and cheetos :)
I'm going to pre-cook the polish so they won't take long on the grill.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I also have small plates besides the regular ones, and bowls, and am bringing lemonade and 2 garbage bags :)
trying to think of what we could have used last year, I should have taken notes!

I also have 3 'disposable' serving spoons if needed, they're nice enough to hang on to but not the end of the world if they don't make it past the picnic :)

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'll bring mustard - whatever's left in the squeeze bottle in the fridge - French's yellow. If you're a mustard lover/gourmet, maybe you better byo.

I'll bring tongs and a spatula and a knife for the buns. And matches. SER smokes, right, in case I forget?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I got the Fatty B and some tequila. I also made a cake...

    Don't forget your lawn chairs!
