  1. Channel 6 said that last night was amazing. Tonight will not be as good, but still visible.

  2. The foreceast was that Earth would pass through a dense stream of particles last night between 1 and 2am PDT. Initial reports looks like they were pretty close (actually hit about 1:30 to 2:30am). We are getting better at this meteor shower prediction business.

Totally clouded out here. Summer rainy season in full swing.

  3. Between 1 and 5 AM? That's SER/Lizardmom time. I'm snoring. But, just in case, where in the sky? Anywhere? Everywhere?

  4. Northeast is the best place to look as that is where Perseus rises.

  7. I went out at 11:15, stood around for a bit and said, OMG, I have to be up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. Anyone see anything?

  8. I got outside about 5:03 (looked at my cell phone) and watched for about 20 minutes...didn’t see a thing. It may have been too late.

There were a lot of clouds over the lake. Well maybe tomorrow.... :(

  9. I went out at 11:15 and immediately spotted one crossing the sky. Stayed out for a few more minutes but didn't see anything else. Come to think of it, I did see one Tuesday night as well.

  10. I'm up but not nearly awake enough to stand still that early in the dark without falling back asleep! I will try to look tomorrow morning but I'm not that good at memory stuff at that hour :(
