I'm back, let's get out of here!

Boy, have I missed you guys!!
We just got back from a wonderful
anniversary trip and I DO NOT want to go
back to work yet!!

SO... I found this cool ride and think we need
to make a run for it,
climb aboard,
it's a comfy, loaded,
chauffeur driven wonder -

LET'S ROLL!!!!!!!!!

  6. We could go to Sault Ste Marie. Reason being, when my dad came back from Germany during WWII, the army sent him to Sault Ste Marie where he was released.

I think it would be an interesting place to go.

  9. Racineuncovered,

This is a big buggy we’re taking this time. Hell yes we have room for you!

You should really bring your own refreshments if you prefer something special. If it is a good wine, you may have to hide it otherwise Abby and Beejay will sneak some. If you bring tequila and beer...well I’ll be glad to help you drink it. We do stop on the road for refills.

If you want a good chuckle, it wouldn’t hurt to bring some coloring paper and a huge box of Crayolas crayons. We have a couple people who like to fight over them and keep hiding them from each other...it’s fun to watch them.

  12. I'm easily amused. Big box of crayons, lots of paper and lots of beer (never liked the taste of wine). I'm game :)

  15. ok, working on the direction thingy
(ok, totally blanking out on what those contraptions are called)
    with our studly driver.

We're heading due east, going up the coast, going thru all of Canada (personally excited about the Falls again and Saskatchewan ), then after we conquer that country, we'll do a perimeter sweep of the US, going down the west coast, around Mexico and back on up the east coast before going home - how does that sound? :)

Get those passports out, and lets get a move on!

  16. Lizardmom, how's this for a route?

Start in Racine then to Minneapolis, Duluth, Thunder Bay Canada, Around the top of Lake Superior to Sault Ste Marie.

Head east to Sudbury, North Bay, Pembroke, Ottawa then Montreal.

Next head a little Northeast to Quebec then Southeast to Saint John New Brunswick.

Follow the coast down to Boston then start heading back west to Albany, Syracuse, Erie, Cleveland and Toledo.

A little north to Ann Arbor, west to Kalamazoo then around the bottom of Lake Michigan back to Racine

  22. thanks Jedwis!! We just hit 20 years, some days it hardly feels like it and others, more like 'is that IT?' Congrats to you too!

Orbs, I dozed off soon after we left Racine, I see lots of water and lots of lobsters, I'm guessing we're on the east coast?? Just be careful if you walk around, kk and logjam have their crayons EVERYWHERE!!

  23. Oh, I thought you meant walk around outside. Don't wanna step on any lobsters.

The bus is always a mess. That's what happens when a group of people party cross-country. Usually by now there's a few bottles of Jose, beer, and/or wine rolling around, too.
