Who says the Brits don't have a sense of humor?

  3. Those are great! I love the ice skater one!

Benny Hill was very funny, but it was an acquired taste.

  4. Benny Hill had a very dry sence of humor, you either like it or not, i thought he was a scream!

  5. Some of the older Mr. Bean stuff is a riot. Fawlty Towers could get me laughing uncontrollably, too. I find I need to take the British humor in small doses.

  6. I think you're right about the small doses. I have the complete collection of the old Monty Python TV series on DVD. Those are fun in their original, 30 minute format. When I first got the set, I tried to watch 3 or more of the shows in a sitting, but they'd lose their edge.

I am also fond of Peter Sellers. Some consider him a genius. I don't know about that, but I liked some of his work, though not particularly the Inspector Clouseau (Pink Panther) roles.
