He probably just wanted to play. I used to have a parakeet when I was in middle school that would come and break the lead in my pencil when I was doing my homework. He wanted me to play with him.
Reminds me of the olden days when I was married and had a Doberman and cat.
The cat would sit on the arm of the couch and when the dog walked by, the cat would jump on the dogs back and stick her with his claws.
Then it began, the dog would chase the cat through the front room, down a little hallway, through the kitchen then the dinning room and back into the front room.
They would be running so fast they could not make the turns so they would hit the couch, slam into the chairs in the kitchen, crash into the chairs in the dinning room and I would be laugh’in my butt off.
My ex-wife could not handle it and would scream at them, then they would come in the front room and lay down next to each other.

ReplyDeletereminds me of my oldest when I doze off on the couch... rather surprised the cat didn't just eat the bird and be done with it LOL!

When I had cats, they stalked Harley's tail, mercilessly while she just ignored them. Kinda funny though.

ReplyDeleteSER, great story. I love it when Charlie and the neighbor cat chase each other around.
ReplyDeleteAs for the bird in the video, I know some people who are exactly like that.
