  4. When I interviewed for my job in Florida, my flight got in about noon. They took me to the original Crab Trap (right at the Skyway entrance in Manatee County) for lunch. They of course said I should have seafood since I was in Florida. I am not much into seafood and for some reason, my eye saw something from Lake Michigan (catfish?) on the menu which I instantly joked about having. I ended up having gator, a really quintessential Florida dish.

  6. KK did i shock you in the eye in my dreams?

It would have been purely accidental for sure!

  7. No... drinking couldn't have caused this; it is more than just pink, it is dry feeling, weepy and hurty. Could be a scratch from something in my eye, but it sure smacks of conjunctivitis. Drat.

  8. I've had pink eye before; a LONG time ago. Not fun...

Not feeling well today either. Coughing, wheezing. stuffy head, running nose. Stayed home from work today.

  9. I had pink eye once. Uncomfortable for sure. Nasty.

Most of the trees have flowered and some already have leaves. Mix that with 30 mph winds and what do you get - allergies. Oh well, this too shall pass. Maybe tomorrow, when the rains come.

  10. kk, you have to see the doctor and get the eye drops. I had it once, too. It sucks.

drew, I feel sorry for you. It sounds like a cold. Take care of yourself. Whine a lot so that THB nurses you back to health.

Mary, it is so weird for this to be happening so early.

  11. Orbs, I have the vaseline-y antibiotic medicine. I started it last night. When you work in the schools, you are, unfortunately, familiar with this malady. I'm at the 24 hour mark and it is finally starting to feel slightly better. It was a rough day, but so far, and luckily, it has only affected one eye.
