A company I use to work for, during the war they manufactured 30mm canon shells. I have a few left.
I use to have all the manufacturing drawing but they got damaged so I tossed them out. They were all stamped “Property of United States Government”.
After they were fired, the military would send them back and the company use to re-size them.
They are center fired shells and they still have the primers in them. Don’t know if the primers are still ‘live’; I was going to hit them with a hammer but could never get enough never together to do it..!!!!
