  5. I was sitting by the computer waiting for Drew to call on his lunch and I looked out the back door to see the birds at the feeder but we had a squirrel on the picnic table standing like a statue. I could not figure out why he was standing like that then a Coopers Hawk came and took the squirrel away. I could not believe that and I just wish I could have taken a picture to share with everyone.

I feel like I have been spring cleaning since we moved my daughter into her apartment.

  6. well, I think hubby may be starting to get antsy to get called back, he really got put to work today! I seriously cleaned the furniture (vacuumed all over and in all the creases, then we flipped them all over and I got it good and clean underneath, yuck!) all floors steam cleaned and polished, only the kitchen to finish, whew! If this effort doesn't entice spring to come, I don't know what else to do!

  7. What is this spring cleaning you ladies speak of?

I stopped at the store on the way home for a new coffee maker, since mine almost electrocuted me this morning. They have all the Easter candy in place (to be expected.) BUT.... all of the prime spot clothes racks are filled with shorts and swim suits. It will be below zero several times this week. They sure are optimistic!

  8. I will be back and love frozen Easter eggs and chocolate
bunnies. Their heads snap off so well when chilled ! The jelly beans make great weapons. Polar vortex, here I come ( but not that soon,)

    I miss y'all!

  11. Late Monday greetings to everyone.

Hi, jed. It's always nice when you post.

THB, aw, poor squirrel. Wow. I betcha drew wishes he had seen it.

I knew predator birds hang around bird feeders looking for food, but I always thought of the prey as other birds. When I had a feeder at my first apartment on the south side, the birds would be chirping and cheeping away and then suddenly stop. I'd look out the window and see one of the peregrine falcons from the courthouse nest.

    When I clean: rarely.

BLB, hang in there. We're sending you good vibrations.
