  6. Always the same ones sneaking the fifth! A putrid and puss filled day?
What does that stand for again?

  7. I'm Pleasant and Pretty. I can't jump for joy, but I can limp. I'm Mr. Daisy - legal took me to the eye doctor today. No good news: cataracts. Getting old is not a whole lot of fun.

Mary, how can you be in the 90's again? Do you get to 120 or so in the summer?

  8. I wish I knew Orbs. It worries me that this might be an indication that our summer will be a hot one. We need rain more than anything else. This is supposed to be a rainy month but that isn't happening quite yet.

  9. I forgot. Hi Jed welcome back. They say it was from a controlled burn but now they are back tracking on that. I was just turning the hose on and we are parched. Instead of cushy, it's crunchy.

Orbs I'm in your club as I also have cataracts. That's the bad news. The good news is when they get bad, they remove them, and they also correct them. I'm all for that.

    Okay I'm done now.

  10. I just heard a rolling thunder pass over. It shook the whole building, and this is a big building. Now the lightning and rain. It was nice today, though.

Yes, Mary, I've known people who have had cataracts removed. My mother had it done to both eyes eventually.

  11. Oh, I should say the really good news is that I have no signs of macular degeneration. That's what ended up blinding my mother. They say people whose eyes have been exposed to a lot of outdoor light are more likely to get it. Like landscape workers and grass cutters. We're also more likely to get skin cancer.

  12. Hi all. I'm arriving very late. Blonde, blue eyes and fair skin also don't measure well with cataracts. So far so good; hope I beat the odds.

I heard the thunder and saw the lightning, too. Everything is starting to green up nicely.

Thanks to Legal for putting up.... I mean taking care of Mr. Sunshine!

  14. Orbs, cataract surgery is fairly fast and easy, I had to have both eyes done 11 years ago (they were really bad, so they did mine within a week of each other, thanks to the steroids...) The worst part of it was not being able to have my caffeine that morning.

  15. Do cataracts measure well with anyone? Cataracts are white and grey and I am sure would go well with your hair.
