  4. SER,most of these were happening in the 60's as well. Sweet shops, soda fountains at your local drug stores, which her family owned!

    Our family moved to Milwaukee in 1960...we hung out at the local city park where they had organized sports activities and general supervision for the kids there.

  8. Beejay, Racine use to have park supervisors (I'm not sure what they called them), but they use to set up games for the kids to play for hours. it was nice.
