  2. I can't decide If I want to leave this hole or not? I DID drink a bottle of "Not Your Father's GINGER ALE" last night. Now only six are left In the six pack. That should confuse the Mail Man.

  3. KK, My brain never rests. I think that's my biggest problem. Remember when we were little, and played "Post Office" ME EITHER. LOL.

  4. we reconnected with friends yesterday, had a great time visiting. Today is my 'catching up' day, I fear the amount of laundry that awaits me... the plus side to having company, tho, is that the rest of the house is clean :)

  5. In keeping up with appliances breaking in January, this year it's the dishwasher. And like the others, we needed a new one. So this morning hubby got up early to put it in. He's a quiet man and I never heard him doing anything.

When I got up at 7:00, I was told there was no water which meant only one flush. Oh goody. So a few minutes later he asked that I hold on to the water hose while he turned the water back on. What he didn't tell me was the pressure would be like the engines in a 747. Immediately water started going everywhere. Everywhere.

The first thing I noticed was a fishing lamp plugged in right near the water. I grabbed a towel and unplugged it. Hubby came in and tried to hold the hose too. No. Meanwhile, the water is getting hot and spraying all over me (coming out from the sink). TMI, it didn't matter as I wasn't wearing anything. Got the water turned off and the towels out.

I was then informed he had to run to Ace to get parts that "weren't included". Within the hour it was hooked up and running and things were back to normal.

That's my day so far Irregulars. The one really good thing is the sun is back out after being gone for quite some time.

    Have a great day.

  6. Toad has dug a hole and crawled in, Okie is Naked and Afraid, I'm attempting escape, THB is regretting self-imposed missed deadlines, and Liz is partying. We sound like a reality T.V. show. As for brain rest, my brain never rests, either. I only meant work-related brain rest; however, last night I was dreaming about different strategies and interventions to try with certain students. So much for the rest. I dragged myself out of bed at 5:30 to stop the dreaming.

Did you guys hear there was a huge earthquake in Alaska this morning?
