Just thought I'd share some pictures I just received of the flooding in the Island Park area.

    I do not ever remember seeing flooding at the base of Chicago St. Wow ... I hope we don't get any more rain.

    I heard (I do not know if it is accutare) the Root River will not crest until Wednesday.

    I was talking to my brother from Atlanta last night. He wanted to know if they could have the water we don't want. He said he was watching ABC network news and they were doing a feature on the Wisconsin flooding. Racine even had clip in the story. He said they showed a picture of a carp lying in the middle of Spring St.

    The beaches were just opened this past weekend. I assume that with all the runoff, they'll be closed again soon. Too bad.

    Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink...guess I'll stick with beer and a good inexpensive wine...but it has to have a real cork.
