How can you say anything bad about reality shows after watching this? I know they intentionally lay on the "sap" to tug on your heartstrings. Also, many people are used or sometimes mocked in the process. I never expected to hear that kind of voice come out of him. You can only wish him well. What a survivor.
Yeah, it is a hell of a story. And like kk said, we can be manipulated. Notice how the music wells up to a crescendo near the end of the video, helping prime the pump for those tears.
jeez orbs, such a cynical guy! :-) I couldn't hear him (of course) but figured he must have an angelic voice. I'm also a cynical guy. I couldn't help but wonder if we will see a tell all that the Lad was just a shill for the show. Like the cardboard/lye muffin man.
