I work all week, 6 straight opens, yes, including the 4th. Off to my sister in laws on the 4th for a bit. Today's agenda is making the potato salad and dissecting 2 watermelons before crashing
Beejay is so excited she repeated herself. I am working today which is normally my day off but I swapping it for Friday so a 4 day weekend awaits me. Yee haw!!!! Have a great day everyone.
We hope everyone has a great 4th of July and please be safe. We are just going to stay in town and maybe go to Sturtevant fireworks today and Racine tomorrow. We can see Racine fireworks from Shoop Park.
Happy Fireworks to you all... guess I'm just going to have to make my own in and around my place. Didn't get invited to any picnics this time. I'll have to cook on the Barbie... I think ribs is in order.
I think I'm laying low this weekend too, BLB. No parties... I've been doing plenty of that the past three weeks.
I made two loaves of banana, ground walnut, sourdough bread today. Baking in summer - we sure have had unusual weather. Anyway, the bread is great, almost a multigrain texture. I'm stuffed. I gorged myself. lol

ReplyDeleteNo parade or fireworks for me, either. During the parade, guys will duck into our backyard to relieve themselves. Women, too, occasionally.

I'll be probably be in the woods away from people tomorrow. I have no desire to deal with the crowds.
