Time to recuperate.

  1. no time to recuperate, working this morning, running errands in Milwaukee with hubby when I get out, then sleep, and poof the weekend is almost done. Next week is another weird one, I long for mundane routine to reset my mind to the correct days of the week

  2. Pictures that make you go ahhhh.
Bath & Body Works have these great candles that I always order after Christmas. Unfortunately last time I checked, they weren't offering them on-line. So, I'm off to the mall.

    Have a great day everyone.

  4. I have packed everything but the whit tree up for another year.

Back to Lowe's to straighten out their employee. Wasted an hour because an employee didn't want to do his job. Grrrr. Now to wait for the installer to call.

  5. what a day! worked, got out, did errands with the hubby - Goodwill in Franklin, Lowes, Hobo, Famous Dave's - for the 1st time, definitely will be going back! Then to Menards here in town to pick up floor tile , which besides the 15% bag sale (1 case fits per bag, need 12...), they ended up on sale besides, score! We made 3 trips in and out, and he called it quits, hopes to pick up the other 6 tonite with his brother. fun days ahead!

  7. LM- Do you ever take a day off and just relax at home. Dang you did enough running around for all of us today.

I have been taking care of a very whinny sick man all day. He fights me on taking medicine saying he is alright the he coughs and sounds like he is going to cough a lung up. I just gave him more medicine and he is in bed for the night. YES

  8. I forgot Daddy Orbs he didn't want to listen to me this morning.

Daddy Orbs and Drew have a personal nurse for them so we have them around for a very long time.

  9. Did nothing but fight the sniffles and sinus headache yesterday. Fell asleep way too early for me. Think I was in bed by 10 pm. Woke up at 4 am this morning and realized that I had no more time to lollygag around.... work tomorrow. Where did the time go?

Took my tree down, emptied the dishwasher, cleaned the bathroom, and now I'm exhausted at 7am. hahaha

  10. It wasn't the hectic actually, I was to work til 11, got out at 9 instead. He guessed we would get home around 3 if we left at 11. We still got home right at 3 leaving at 9. I think something has to be wrong with me, I'm having a heck of a time acclimating to him being home again, and he's been home since Thanksgiving. I got so used to having time everyday to myself, the house to myself, etc. He's always here now, and I should be enjoying it, and mostly I do, but I have moments daily when I want to climb the walls, and just need time for me... need to reset this brain of mine. horrible wife...

  11. OMG LM. You are not a horrible wife, you're quite normal. Mine is out fishing right now and I am enjoying the peace and quiet. Don't beat yourself up over nothing.

  12. LM, everyone needs some time for themselves.

It's 3.0 °F out there right now. We had a few inches of snow. This is why I want a parking space in the basement: I hate having to scrape all my windows and brush off the snow. But, alas, there are no open spaces, especially after last winter.
