You know how some organizations used to mail you a penny to guilt you into donating to them? Apparently, the price of guilt has gone up. Last week, mom received a nickel in the mail.
Guilt inflation. I'm still getting mail for my mom with the nickels. The magazine subscription people are the worst though. They go as far as to send "gifts" to her friends, saying she authorized it, and then question her morals for not paying the bill.... criminals.
