A friend and I both noticed the lack of firecracker noise in the days preceding the fourth. I remember when we put up with weeks of noise before Independence Day. Yesterday they started up after the fireworks, but just for a few hours. It's quiet again. I assume this is a result of the police ticketing violators.
wow, I almost missed Friday, I don't know what day I'm on, so tired, my 6th straight open tomorrow, bed very soon! I was expecting to be woken up to fireworks in the neighborhood but once I was out (7pm ish), I was OUT
