This one is mine, I'm surprised I did ok!
I think I tried making the cavity too open, it kept sagging, I had to go outside and hold it til it cooled enough to hold it's own til I could stuff it -

  1. I think it's going to take 3 batches, I want a good size bird, not a baby bird! Smells yummy! I added peanut butter so it doesn't look so pale. Peanuts are good for you, rice is good for you, hmmm, does this make it a healthy turkey after all??? I say YES!

  3. I don't think there are calories in any Thanksgiving dinner. After all, it is a holiday.

  7. Liz, Thank's a lot. Looks just like me with my head cut off. I do however like M&Ms.

  8. Dead meat and chocolate... lol. I'm with Toad. Sometimes I can't be left alone with M&M's.

  9. I had to hide it downstairs for it's own safety! oh the temptation! I did, however, make a batch just for me and stirred in chocolate chips, I may be weak, but I know how to bribe myself to behave :D

  10. BEST...REACTION...EVER!!!
I brought the 'turkey' upstairs to show my mother in law, who's in a wheel chair. Upon arriving upstairs with said turkey in hand, before I could get to her, a little nephew, maybe 8ish, saw it, his eyes lit up, he started vibrating with excitement and his hands started pumping, he exclaimed
    "IS IT TIME???????!!!!!!"
meaning is it time for dessert, of which there were 4 to choose from, all the kids wanted this turkey, priceless!
Made my day, so precious, pure, childlike innocence and excitement. If only the grown ups were like that ahaha!

  12. Just had time to watch her video. I always make rice krispie treats in the microwave. Spray your spoon with Pam and when it gets to the messy part, just spray your hands. No sticking at all! Cleanup is a breeze.

You must stand by the microwave when melting the marshmallows. They melt and expand quickly.
