ArtRoot, a collaboration of artists and art advocates in Racine, held an unveiling ceremony for its seventh Wall Poem of Racine on Sunday on a wall of the Karlsen Plumbing building at 1951 Grove Ave. The mural, which was designed by UW-Parkside student Samantha Cibrario and painted by Dean Tawwater, features an excerpt from Mboya Sharif’s poem “I am a Woman.”
