Orbs, Mary,

When I was working I sent out a joke on email. Someone forwarded it to a female supervisor who was out to make a name for herself.

Well within 15 minutes of sending it I was in HR getting scolded, they said it was degrading to women…and it was. Unbeknown to me 2 months earlier they sent 2 male supervisors out for “sensitivity” training!

Kinda crazy, the 2 supervisors both had 25 to 30 of supervision BUT, someone complained and the company had to show the employees they listen to them and take care of business.

The new age I guess.

Like the olden days of all the Polack jokes that were out there.

Encarta Dictionary: English
(North America)

Po`lack [ ‘peu,laek ] (Po`lacks)

A highly offensive term for
A Polish person or
Somebody of Polish
Descent

That question would be a big fire starter... Some things are just better being kept to self. Things always turn and you will be back in the Karma Kafe
Where you are served what you deserve..... No menus... Only venues.

Bullying is a big deal in the schools. Sexual orientation, race, you name it... they say that most of the kids who go ballistic and become violent have suffered some form of bullying.

When I used to work for a large manufacturer, we were routinely sent for training. I totally see where it can be an issue. We all need to be more sensitive and kinder. A joke isn't funny if it is at the expense of someone else... yet some people are just looking for a reason to be sensitive, as well. Your workplace isn't the venue to test the water.

Larry the Cable Guy sure gets away with some things that other people would be shunned for saying.

God, what happened? All of a sudden we all get serious. I thought what was written was funny. How can anyone take offense? Bullying is just you pointing out something that is different about someone else. Be it a big nose, their faith, their religon. I once said, "She is ugly." everyone clammed up. I thought what the heck...she IS ugly. Oh well. If one can't take a joke they are regular. LOL I am so funny!!!!!!!!

Was the original posting of the threesome. The husband or BF could get himself into deep doo doo .
This is only blogging. I don't think people these days look for reasons to be sensative. Many if not all
Have been beat up by society.
Only the strong survive. Screw the screwers.

Perfectly stated KK. First thing that came to mind reading this was if I use the word nigger; it’s oh my god did you hear what SER said; he used the “N” word. BUT two blacks walk up to each other and one will say, “How’s my nigger”? No one says a word….
