County Eye and the Racine Taxpayers Association are partnering to
present a number of community candidate forums in the weeks leading up
to the February primary and April general elections.
"The forums will give residents an opportunity to hear directly from
the candidates. Voters will also have the chance to ask questions of
their own, too.
"We will update this story as more details become available.
"Sturtevant Municipal Judge:
"7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Village Hall, 2801 89th Street.
"Candidates are Robert Niemiec (i); Steve Brown; Kathy Lynaugh; Stuart Ten Cate
"7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5 in the Great Lakes Room at Gateway Technical College, 1001 Main Street.
"Candidates are: John Dickert (i); Edward Deihl, Melvin Hargrove, Janice Hand
"7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 2 in the Great Lakes Room at Gateway.
"5th District: Final two from the primary between Sue DeKeuster, Monte Osterman, Paul Sloth, Steve Smetana
"7th District: Ray DeHahn (i) and Eric L. Mohr
"Mount Pleasant Village President:
"7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.
"Candidates: Mark Gleason (i) and Jerry Garski"
