"The City Council voted 7-5 on Tuesday night at City Hall, 730 Washington Ave., to pick up $262,612 of the cost for putting in the traffic circle after state transportation officials ruled the project unwarranted. Aldermen Melissa Kaprelian-Becker, Mike Shields, Eddie Diehl, Ron Hart and Q.A. Shakoor II, voted against the move."
