Nerdcore

I listen to the radio show To the Best of Our Knowledge. The second hour of the show took a look at nerds. The part that caught my attention was the discussion of nerdcore. Nerdcore is basically hip hop but the lyrical topics are, well,things that nerds talk about.

I have not been up on the music and didn't realize how much of it there is. However, I am a long time fan of MC Hawking and have his CD of rap about astrophysics. MC Frontalot is considreed the godfather of the genre.

Turns out I have a whole new set of music to explore.
