The Sound of Swine Flu

Swine flu has been in the news a lot. As you can imagine, one of the big things in fighthing the outbreak is to get the genetic sequence. San Francisco blogger Stephan Zielinski decided to see what it sounds like. He wrote an algorith to translate the genetic sequence of H1N1 to sound so we can all listen to the Sound of Swine Flu.

It is actually very soothing and pretty. Not at all what I expected. Hmmmm. makes you wonder what the plague sounds like....

Thanks hale, the music looks sickeningly sweet, but now my lymph nodes feel slightly swollen.
