Cold Weather and Taking Chances

Does anyone else think people take more chances when it is cold out side then when it is warm?

Today, a group of teenagers ran across the street in front of me. Each one of them had heavy coats on and their hoods up and the wind was blasting down the street.

First thing, which came to mind is I do not blame them. am I sure they wanted out of the cold/wind as soon as possible.

Ser, when did you move to the North Pole. If they had their hoodies pulled up it was probably to hide.
I was out and about today in a long sleeve henly and was comfortable. I've noticed too many people who don't even bother looking one way let alone both before stepping off a curb. Be it at a corner or not, usually not.

fungi: Your correct. They don't give a damn. A new word for it should be found for the next dictionary update.
