Some of the JTIs were worried about you.

glad you see you SER!
wow, that picture really messes with your eyes if it's the 1st thing you see after opening your own!
I got to 'sleep in', instead of opening, I"m covering for someone and working a 9-1 short shift, almost 11 hours of sleep, I'm feeling pretty good :)

I went back in time yesterday to June 16th. I've been having computer issues with something redirecting me to sites I didn't care to go.... No cloud scans, no anti-sypware programs even detected anything wrong, and I tried everything that I know to eradicate it. Let's see (and hope) that the system restore continues to do the trick.

Another 100 degree day and then down to the 70's with rain. Oh darn, that means I don't have to scrub as it would be pointless.

Personally I am worried about all of you who don't seem to sleep.
SER is here at 1:07, Orbs at 1:48 and LM and 5:58.

Have a great day everyone. I'm tired of waiting for the Vietnam Vets Charity to come pick up their donation. They called to see if I had things which I did but then we realized she wasn't talking to who she thought she was and wasn't the right area. Told me she would call to remind me and she didn't and they came. So I called them and left a message to call when they were coming. They didn't call but they came by. It's been 3 weeks and I'm tired of having all that crap in my closet.
Am I being bad? Don't care.

Oh Mary, I got 11 hours of sleep last night, with the hours I keep, I couldn't stay awake past 7pm, so I went to bed and didn't have to get up til 6 or 7 but I woke up before the alarm, sure was weird going to work when the sun is out, I felt like a vampire, weird stuff!
BLB - use the cymbals with his noggin in the middle, should work

I am glad to see that SER is alright and yes I am one that was worried about you.

LM- You really needed that sleep with everything you have been through this week.

Kk- I have never heard of a computer doing that before but I am glad your computer is up and running.

So far my computer fix seems to be working. Wonder where I picked up that nasty, secretive bug? I don't "do" adult sex websites, and that is where it directed me once, along with several hijacking attacks to harmful downloader sites.

I did lose Google Chrome functionality in the Restore, which initially freaked me out, but I was able to uninstall it and use Firefox to fetch a new clean copy. Evidently, whatever it was, it tangled itself into the browser.

System Restore has worked for me a few times, but not many. Usually I get the message that it can't be done.

I don't screw around with the operating system much these days, so I use System Restore less.

Last week, Spybot, a free program, found some malware on my system that Norton Internet Security did not detect. This is not the first time that's happened. I pay $80 for a year of Norton, but the free program detects the problems.

Hey Orbs - I asked hubby what we pay for Norton and he said about $20. He orders every year on black Friday when the sales start.

I'm a pretty big fan of Avast, a free antivirus program. I rarely have issues. Whatever this was, even all the most highly rated online scans, including Kaspersky, didn't recognize it as a threat.

I'm so glad system restore worked. I wasn't sure how ugly it was going to get next. Anytime you mess too deeply, especially with older equipment, you run the risk of turning it into a paperweight.
