Four for Fridays

Welcome back to another hot edition of Four for Fridays! It sure is hot out there already... 82 degrees as of this posting. Makes me think of summer questions....

1) What do you love the most about summer?

2) What do you do to cool yourself off in the summer heat?

3) What do think is a perfect summer song?

4) Did you chase after fireflies when you were a kid?

Enjoy your weekend!

4. They are bugs. Nope. I see them around here, Toad. Less, now that all my big trees are gone, though.

1) Sunlight. The gray days of winter are deadly.

2) Stay in the air conditioned apartment (out of the sunlight, ;-P ).

3) Summertime Blues

4) Yes, but we didn't see them much in our neighborhood. I don't know why. A block away was North Beach's lake bank where we could see them in abundance.

Thank you, drew, and keep cool.

Being an Irregular, I am allowed to do this. I would like to add to my first answer that I also LOVE the flowers.

1) What do you love the most about summer?
Lighter hair, darker skin, a more relaxed attitude, spending more time with friends, getting occasionally a good drunk on and
going to the beach.

2) What do you do to cool yourself off in the summer heat?
Take a skinny dip or a chunky dunk.
Damn I like food too much.

3) What do think is a perfect summer song?

Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting burnt and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city

4) Did you chase after fireflies when you were a kid?

I not only chased them, I caught them and smashed the glowing parts to make light on different surfaces. Weird.

O wow...Mary said the same song...
Then I will have to say "Row row row your Boat"

1) Going outside without wearing a jacket.

2) Drink lots of fluids.

3) Van Halen-Summer Nights, Don Henley-Boys of the Summer, KISS-Hotter than Hell, Blue Cheer-Summertime Blues, Lovin' Spoonful-Summer in the City, Glen Frey-The Heat is On, Beach Boys-Surfin' USA, etc.

4) Yes I did. Used to put them in jars. I've many fireflies in my backyard this summer. They mostly come out at dusk.

We used to capture bumblebees in jars.
