Is it your “Patriotic Duty” or your “Patriotic Right” to vote?
To me looking at the word “Duty” it’s like a job or an obligation, you have to do it; whereas “Right” you have the privilege whether to vote or not to vote.

I believe it is both. You have the right to vote... and also, the duty that comes with it to exercise that right. (sounds like lawyer-speak, hehehehe)

It's your right, paid for with the lives of others. I consider it a duty, too, but many do not.
I think it is a duty. And, I believe if you don't bother to vote, then don't bother to bitch. I'm not going to listen to it.
I think you are going to complain whether you vote or not. You don't have to vote. You will not go to jail if you do or not, if you vote for someone or not. Just see what haens if you tell anyone they cannot vote (mostly legal reasons), but if they told the average citizen he/she can't...watch the fireworks. I think it's a right. We are going to get what we reap.
I'm going to have a hell of a time tomorrow. I can't stand Barrett or Walker, Wanggaard or Lehman. None of the above would be my preference, but, of course, that doesn't count.

These days it is your patriotic duty to give millions of dollars to a Super Pac. Used to be if you don't vote, you can't complain. Now if you don't give millions of dollars to a Super Pac, you can't complain.
