Sirens Kept Waking Me Up Last Night

And that's hard to do. I sleep like a hibernating bear.

Sirens at night on the south side are not rare, but there was a bunch howling and yowling last night. Kept rousing me. I figured there'd be news of a great fire or gang shootout or something in the local news this morning. However, there's nothing.

Just another Friday night in Racine.

Didn't I just see there was a 4 car accident in Racine last nite? I thought it was Racine. No news anywhere else on this.

That's What She Said said...

I saw on channel 12 this morning that there was a high speed car accident involving a drunk driver and a couple other cars on the part of Main St. that goes from two lanes to one. One of the cars flipped and rolled over another car, but my understanding is that there were no fatalities at least so far. I think they said it was around 2 am. Of course, no mention of this on the JT.

Thank you for the information. That wouldn't be too far from my apartment, so I guess I'd hear the response.

I don't like TV news because I can't stand the attitude of the talking heads, but maybe I'll have to supplement my internet media diet.

And so summer in Racine begins! Drunks flying around town as if they own the roads..drunks shooting at people for pennies...I had some clown last night(this morning) @ 3:30 am laying on his horn.....honestly.........if I only had a gun!

Ah, the Journal Times is finally on it: "Early morning crash causes injuries, damage".

The JT probably got the scoop here. Geech.

Sounds like a very serious accident if flight for life was called in. The people whose cars were damaged are victims of drunk driving too. Wonder if the driver has insurance or a valid drivers license? What a shame.
