Something isn't right with these pictures. There isn't ever a time when entire continents are cloudless. Seems more like pictures of a globe than pictures taken from orbit.

Great pictures! I always loved the one taken of earth when the guys were on the moon. Eerie! Of course someone made a copy of it with an arrow saying YOU ARE HERE. LOL Several years ago they had a channel on TV late at night showing what a satilite was seeing as it circled the earth..televised LIVE. It was slow, very slow, but awesome.

Huck, I can't say anything about these pics for sure, but frequently they are stitched together from lots of images that may have been taken on different days to create a large, cloud free mosaic.
