How time flies, on Feb 4, 1974 Patty Hearst was kidnapped.

She also helped her kidnappers rob a bank and ended up spending 7 years in prison.

40 years later, I bet it's a happy day for her.

Stay warm and safe, it's going to be another chilly one out there today

Ah, the Symbionese Liberation Army. They were a fun group.

Terrific Tuesday to you!

I am mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.

Don't tell me I am going to wake up to 4 inches of snow, thus making me hope for a snow day, and then end up with rain and sleet. Really? How rude.

Have a safe day everyone. Northern Oklahoma is getting hammered and that my friends, is headed your way.

I caught another bed bug last night. This is the fourth one since treatment began. The pest control company salesman is backpedaling a hundred miles an hour. Every time I talk to him, it's a different story.

Now he says maybe the dressers in my bedroom are harboring the bugs. Wtf is he talking about? The heat treatment was supposed to penetrate everything and kill the bugs. Everything in my dressers was in plastic bags when I moved here because of the bedbugs. When they heat treated, I took everything out of the bags to allow the heat to flow through.

He's also saying maybe the apartments around me are infested. Asshole.

They give a 30 day guarantee on their service, but since they've been here I haven't gone more than two weeks without seeing a bed bug. Management says I have to pay for any re-treatment. I'm already in debt up to my ears. I can't take this shit anymore.

If I have to pay $900 for another round of treatments, I'm definitely suing my previous landlord. Indeed, I think my current landlord should also sue my previous one for the cost of the treatments. He forced me out knowing that the bed bugs still infested my belongings.

Since leaving the old place, I learn more and more about my old landlord. He's a monster. He's literally barred from some retail establishments in downtown because he's such an asshole.

Orbs I had time at work today so I looked up bed bugs. Did you know there are a number of u tube videos regarding bed bugs. The one I watched was quite interesting on how you can get of those creatures without breaking the bank. Might be worth a try.

Good luck Orbs. As the saying goes, if you want something done right, do it yourself.

There is no accountability in government or corporations anymore. Pay for nothing, then pay again, and if you complain, pay three times as much. Also pay added taxes and fees, and don't forget to pay for the insurance and warranty that won't be honored for any reason.

What has the government have to do with bedbugs.? That statement is rather redundant and quite impossible for containment and/or management
Without accountability .

You have to not be an idiot to understand it.

Thanks, Mary. A buddy suggested YouTube videos for bed bugs a few nights ago. He was over here again tonight and we watched some together.

My last landlord actually gave me a CO2 bedbug trap months ago. He said another tenant was making them. However, it was faulty. It attracted nothing. Nor do I think that anyone was aware that the solution has to be changed every 5 days or so.

"Orbskin Man" is pretty good. I'd have only one solution for bed bugs: a flamethrower.

Sadly, I agree with you. That was one of the things I thought about after talking to the pest control salesman.

Another thing I've noticed is that many people who don't do their jobs do expect others to do theirs. A guy in a factory hates his job and sabotages whatever he can whenever he can. However, when he goes to purchase a manufactured product somewhere, he is outraged if the product is faulty. He's helping his company produce garbage. Why does he expect some other company to produce roses?

Ah well, too bad for us.
