Happy Thursday! Try not to turn blue from the cold.

The cat in that image could be related to someone I know.

Once again, the deadly cold stuff. We know the drill. Layer up and get down.

I couldn't get warm last night. I (IN the house) had on a scarf wrapped around my neck and a hoodie, zipped up, hood on.....I don't think I remember what it feels like to feel warm

I am on my way to Paris! Sitting on the train down to Copenhagen to later jump on a plane to Paris. We have a couple of friends that are living there and we are going for a short 4 day visit. It should be exciting, I have never been there.. Wish we had a little more time to get in more of the sights but will try to live it up as much as possible..

It is Spring time here in Europe.. Although it may be above freezing it is very gray and rainy.. Was hoping Paris was going to be better but according to the weather reports it seems like it is going to be much the same weather.

I hope you all stay warm and that this terrible winter ends soon for you over there.. I think you have had enough now..

I got a text that Mitchell School is on fire. I went out on the jt site only to find I can't watch a video because I'm not signed up. WTH.

Why Not - how fun is that trip going to be.

OMG - I'll take the 5th today.

I got to Paris once...it was April...cool, but not bad and had some Sun. Great time.

Saturday I get to do a unique race: The Boneyard 10k. I have posted about it before...the facility in Tucson where military planes go to die. I have taken the bus tour that Pima Air and Space Museum offers, but you can't get out. Now I get to run by all the old planes. They had a 5k and a 10k...I choose the 10k just to spend more time running by planes.

Mary, I know that http://www.todaystmj4.com/ has a video of the story. It has been on the Milwaukee news. You should be able to view that without a subscription. Good ol' JT, still fighting for every buck.

From what I have heard, the old gym in the elementary, just to the East of the Junior High is the location where it may have started. There was a kitchen on the south wall where lunches were warmed.

Classes were cancelled for today; I've heard talk about alternate sites being set up for classes.

What a mess. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Thanks KK & Orbs. I went to Mitchell from kindergarten through 9th.
I cannot begin to imagine what it is like to fight a fire in those kinds of temps. A big thanks to all firefighters.

I can't really understand how they can have classes there. It's an old school and with part of the roof missing, I would think it would be too cold for classes to be held. I do believe they are going to have to find an alternate location.

I also have to wonder when they said it went into the basement, which one. There are at least two basements at Mitchell. Man would I like to go through that school again.
