Moar Hollywood Pedophiles?

Today's Blind Items - More, More, More

Short and sweet. This permanent A+ list mostly movie director is bailing on a project because of news he is trying to keep under wraps. Apparently there are recordings of him interviewing young child actors and asking them wholly inappropriate questions. The recordings are from about two decades ago and are from either one or two movies filmed at around the same time. He was only the director on one of them but helped cast both.

Dear Madame Zoltar

Hello, my honeys!  How are you?  I'm doing well.  Our weather sure has been windy.  The windy winter.  It's blowing a lot of cold air.  If it was blowing hot air, I would suspect that Mr. Mayor Cory 'Butterball' Mason was opening his yap again.  What a non-mayor.  He only shows his face when there is good news and hides when there isn't.  Come on out and talk to us sometime, Butterball.

The city is still suffering the effects of the ransomware attack.  The city has hired extra bodies to help.  Gee, do you think that's cheaper than the forty bucks it would have cost to buy some malware protection?  The people in our IT department are "experts."  I'll bet that Butterball wouldn't give them the $40.  Oh well . . .

How about that rabies scare at the Wind Lake Volunteer Fire Department?  They owe $29,000 of the $60,000 outstanding.  All because they thought a woman was foaming at the mouth.  Oh my.  I've seen Junior work up quite a lather while brushing his teeth.  If he were to suffer some sort of medical emergency while brushing, I wonder if the rescue personnel would think he's infected with rabies?  I often wonder myself what has gotten into him.

Señor Zanza has been a dear, as always.  I don't deserve such a kind man, but I'm glad I have him.  Whenever there is snow, he cleans off my car and warms it up.  How wonderful.  He cleans the sidewalk and driveway. taking extra care to clear the porch and steps.  I don't know what I would do without him.  He is also an accomplished cook and often makes dinner for us.  I'm never going to let him go.

Remember, you read it here first: the coronavirus will become a pandemic and disrupt life in the United States.  The "officials" have been trying to avoid a nation-wide scare, but the facts will soon outpace them:

The other interesting thing about this pandemic is that it started in one of China's laboratories.  China does all sorts of research on germ warfare and such.  They created this virus and it escaped.  Now the entire world will suffer because some pigs in power played their games with our lives.  Seriously, there should be some way to neutralize pigs in power.  A bullet to the brain is my first thought.

If you catch the coronavirus, please stay home and limit your contact with others.  I'm told that the usual infection is minor, like a cold.  Only in rare instances does the sickness progress to death.  Take care of yourself and you should be OK.

That's it, kiddos, I'm done blabbing for the day.  I love you all - every last one of you.  Please share the love.

Please be sure to respect one another.  It's our best hope for peace.

Advocate Aurora's plan to double in size is based on firm belief: Bigger is better

From JSOnline:

The merger that created Advocate Aurora Health could be just the start for the health system.
Jim Skogsbergh, the CEO of Advocate Aurora, last month set out the ambitious target of increasing the health system’s revenue to $27 billion a year and more than doubling its size by 2025.
He acknowledged that the target is somewhat audacious and characterized it as aspirational.

This is idiotic.  I had two surgeries last year done by Aurora in their Kenosha hospital.  I left the hospital against medical advice after my last surgery.  They are so short handed that my surgeon supported my decision to leave early.  Their patient care is horrible.  They don't have enough bodies to make good on their promises.  I would NEVER recommend Aurora to anyone.  They keep building.  Who's going to staff those new buildings?  A maintenance worker was my best help after my first surgery.  Maybe they'll hire more of those . . .

Coronavirus may have leaked from China's highest biosafety lab

The coronavirus may have emerged from a Wuhan laboratory leak, which studies deadly pathogens such as the SARS virus, scientists suggest.
Health officials believe that the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which causes the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), originated from wild animals sold in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan City, which is home to 11 million residents.
Now, a team of scientists from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences, South China Agricultural University, and Chinese Institute for Brain Research wrote in a paper published on ChinaXiv, about an alternative source of the coronavirus that is currently spreading across the globe.
The scientists say they have found genomic evidence that the seafood market is not the actual source of the outbreak. Instead, they point the source of the virus outbreak to a laboratory that studies potent viruses.
The Wuhan Virology Institute researches some of the world's most dangerous pathogens. It is China's first Biosafety Level 4 laboratory, the highest security level needed to isolate dangerous biological agents in an enclosed facility.

Flat-Earther ‘Mad’ Mike Hughes killed in crash-landing after homemade rocket launch (VIDEO)

Flat-Earther ‘Mad’ Mike Hughes killed in crash-landing after homemade rocket launch (VIDEO)
Daredevil Flat-Earther ‘Mad’ Mike Hughes has died after launching himself into the sky in a homemade rocket. Purported video of the accident shows the fatal launch.
Hughes and a colleague built the steam-powered rocket in hopes of shooting the daredevil 5,000 feet (1.5km) into the air. The endeavor was being documented by the Science Channel, which wanted to feature him in a new series called ‘Homemade Astronauts’.
A video purportedly filmed at the site shows the rocket being launched into the sky near Barstow, California, before Hughes plunges back down to the earth.
Warning: This video contains disturbing images
The self-taught rocket engineer gained notoriety for his belief that the Earth is flat. However, Hughes said that his flat-Earth belief was not the primary motivator for his latest, and final, rocket test, stressing that he was simply a daredevil.
The 64-year-old first shot himself into the sky in 2014, and completed several launches. His most successful attempt took place in March 2018 when he propelled himself approximately 1,875 feet (572 meters) into the air before crashing back to Earth at around 350mph (563kph). He sustained multiple injuries from his previous flights, before ultimately succumbing to his dangerous hobby on Saturday.
