Amendment 28 to the Constitution

Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.

"Re-elect no one" could become the best grassroots effort ever. Just refuse to vote for incumbents and select the best alternative. Finally put some fear into the a**holes who betray us time after time after time.

I like it, re-elect no one.. I think that is how I will vote next time I can. Things are pretty much in the shitter and no one is doing any good so why should they get another term..

I think we should start printing up signs and t-shirts..

So what if this catches on and a member of the House decides to run for a Senate seat? Technically, it's not re-electing (this happens all the time in states like Florida with term limits for state House and Senate members...sort of negates the purpose of the amendment.)

OK, here's a new amendment: this one time, we get to dump them all for the sake of the country. Thing is, the special interests would soon be bankrolling the alternatives that we select.
