I do notice that this is only Part #1. Nice pictures.

Did you also get some Trilliums?

Too early, but soon there will be the Jack in the Pulpits and the Umbrella Plants.

I saw 6 Deer in Colonial Park the other day. There was a group of 2, and then a group of 4.

Very pretty, THB! I am a fan of the trillium. They are so beautiful and only around for such a short time. Pets and Sanders Park usually have a great showing for about 1-2 weeks. I always feel happy when I catch them.

My sister and her husband had trillium, but they lost more and more every year until there were no more.

I like violets in turf, but many people consider them weeds.

I never heard of Blue-eyed Grass before. Very pretty.

In my horticulture classes, they pointed out that there are millions of different plants. You can't know them all, although a guy I worked for was never stumped. He also taught a woody plants course that I took. We had to identify trees and shrubs by just twigs, no leaves or flowers.

Thank you for the pics, THB. I look forward to them.

The Blue Eyed Grass can be viewed in the Washington Park area. It is all over in the flats across from Lee's Deli and it abounds, along with garbage, in the gulleys that lead down to the Golf course.

Click HERE for a map of the general area. I was by there today, and it was even thicker with blooms than last time.

Tricky Dicky yes there will be more with them all starting to come up.

Daddy Orbs the only place to find the Blue-Eyed Grass is in marshy places.

I am going to be looking for the trillium for you kk.

Legal the dandelions are already coming up.
