Why nobody had ADHD when we were growing up!

LOL... more truth than fiction. Too many kids are labeled with this or that so that parents can benefit financially. Sad...

The worst problems come from using those labels as reasons to allow or excuse bad behavior.

Y'know, I think there's a lot of truth to this little clip. I remember "Quit yer cryin' or I'll give you somethin' to cry about" worked pretty well for me growing up.

It's my belief that a lot of these problems are lack of proper diet and exercise.

My nephew is labeled with some sort of letters.. dont really know which ones just something annoying.

They recently changed his diet, he otherwise would eat nothing other than junk foods with lots of sugar and no nutritious elements. When he changed his diet he immediately started to behave. It was amazing, one morning while he was staying at my mothers house he was really obnoxious (this is after the change in his diet) and I was thinking wow, he hasn't acted like this in a really long time, come to find a pop-tart wrapper in his pocket. It was amazing to see how sugar could affect his behavior. That along with proper discipline (I'm not an advocate of hitting your children, but they need to learn there are consequences to their behavior, what ever those consequences are)

Hi, Why Not.

I loved the clip. South Park, right?

I don't know how we did it, either, classes full of kids from every possible background thrown together to learn. Somehow, we did it. Or they did it to us.
