If it was diet coke that would be great for me. I just got back from taking Drew to work and it is so cold out there. Now I really do not want to go and do my errands today but they have to get done!

I gave up soda, cold turkey. I have to agree with the current body of thinking that at least part of the obesity problem is driven by high fructose sweeteners and empty calories.

I don't think the diet sodas are any better. They trick your body into releasing insulin, but then when it doesn't find the sugar to "work" on, your body craves more calories and sugary types of food.

Drink wine, it works for the Europeans.

I'm a Pepsi person myself. In fact I'm drinking one now.

Yesterday it was 70 here and today it will be 34. Still a hell of a lot better than what you guys have.

SER, Two of the BEST. Even Diet Squirt Is the best, but Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Is alway's amazing. When WE (LOL) were kids, the Squirt factory was across the street from Pete's Pixie on Taylor Ave. It was way back on 18th St. We used to go get Squirt decals from the person In the office. They let us walk around the factory, and watch them wash and fill bottles. We had lots of fun. It was darn near as fun as watching them unload semi's of food at the Pig. on Taylor.

KK, 2 Buck Chuck (Charles Shaw) out of California went up .49 cents a bottle, after more than 10 years at 2 bucks. It's really quite good for that price. Comes In Merlot, Chardonay, Chablis, and I believe Cabernet, which Is what I had. It may be White Zin, and not Chablis?

only Pepsi Max in the morning to get the eyeballs open, after that it's just water or sometimes chocolate milk.
Just got home from a whirlwind day and a half with my sisters and a quick visit with hubby. All went well, except for a horrendous trip from Highland, IN to Hobart, actually just from Cline to 65, complete snow white out and 3 mile an hour tops moving... home safe and sound, it's all good!

They say we might get a little snow tonight and tomorrow.

Brand new boiler in the building. It conked out at 4 AM. They got it up and running again. We've had a lot of trouble with it.

KK... you gave up soda, but still only eat warm turkey? Europeans do drink and whine a lot.

Mary... you are drinking a Pepsi person? Where do you find Pepsi people?

Coke and Pepsi are both great...very different.

Toad...Peter had his own pixie?

I'm going to have a malt now even tho I suffer from lactose intolerance.And guess what that causes?
