A Memorial for my Sisters Fiance'!

I know I said I was not going to post anymore Halloween pictures but my sister had a memorial for her fiance' last night and I just up loaded some pictures to share with everyone. Her fiance' said the only holiday he loved the best was Halloween because he loved to decorated his yard and had my sister and the kids dress up and help him out. He passed away last month and my sister wanted to do something special for him and they decorated the yard up and she had the kids help her out to remember him. I am adding a couple pictures of our Grandkids in their Halloween costumes because my son was there too. We couldn't make it up there to help out Drew had to work today. Here are the pictures-

Four for Fridays

Hello everyone and welcome back! The week has been flying by, thanks to the day off yesterday. I needed that.... So, here's your questions...

1) Given the time and resources to go anywhere in the the lower 48 states to shoot photographs for two weeks, where would you go?

2) Who would you rather be, Superman or Batman?

3) What restaurant do you think is overrated?

4) What is the most unusual costume you have ever seen?

Enjoy your weekend!

Halloween Pt 2!

I am going to try to get as many Halloween pictures on here as I can by Friday. I have a lot to share with everyone. Here are some pictures from the street that Drew grew up on Virginia St Racine Wi-

I hope everyone really enjoys the pictures and there is still more to come. Have a great day all the ghouls and goblins!

Dear Madame Zoltar

Hello, my ghouls and goblins!  Boo!  How are you?  Are you running through the leaves and jumping into the piles?  Or are you stuck with raking them up?  One of the things I’ve always hated is getting all of the leaves into a big pile and then the wind blows them away before I can put them in trash bags.

Such duties are Junior and Señor Zanza’s problem now.  What I really miss from my youth is the smell of burning leaves.  We’re not allowed to burn them in the city of Racine anymore, so we take bags of them to a remote location and have a bonfire. Sometimes, a steaming, red hot, bed of coals is constructed for the nutjobs.  They make the beds of hot coal to walk over without shoes to prove their belief in something or the other.  Oh my.

I read about the layoffs to come at CNH.  That’s sad, just very sad.  Right in the middle of the winter holiday season.  What a kick to the groin.  I’ll pray for all.  Make use of every resource the city and county have to offer.  You may get a better job.

Personally, 2014 was rotten. It wouldn’t need much to improve.

Packersly, their last game was  rotten.  They have a bye week now, correct?  I hope they use the time wisely.

In the Irregular Football League, Mme. Zoltar is holding down OrbsCorbs in last place.

Need help?  Yes, you do: MadameZoltar@jtirregulars.com

The days shorten  Bah, I spit on winter.  Won’t make any difference anyway. Hagiology

What's on the Menu!

I am so sorry I have not posted any new recipes for a very long time. I feel so bad since I am the one that started this and I really want to keep up with posting new recipes every week and I promise I am going to try my best to keep posting my recipes to share with everyone.

The one I am going to post today I can not tell you how many times I have made this for Drew and his son they just love this so much. Drew told me the first time I made this it taste just like a Reese's cup.

                                                Peanut Butter Pie

1-8 ounce package of cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1- 9 inch graham cracker pie shell
1 package reese cups

Mix cream cheese, vanilla and sugar very well. Then add the peanut butter and mix well. After that fold in the whipped topping and mix very well.

Fill pie shell with the peanut butter mixture and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Before you serve this place reese cups around the top of the pie.

If you want something that everyone will love for a desert this is the pie to serve. I can make this every weekend and Drew would be in heaven. I have made this for Drew and his son for their birthday's and that was the last time I have made them.

I hope everyone enjoys this recipe for their families.

Localy Loyalty - input please!

Good morning!
Today, I am asking for your input.
The places I have found, I feel, cover all kinds of businesses.
So many more businesses are still yet to be discovered.
If there any kind of place you'd like me to find, that I haven't yet?
If it's on my list of places yet to contact, I will bump it to the top.
Are you having trouble finding a certain kind of business?
Maybe it's an area you'd like to find a good business in.
In the future, I plan on expanding to Union Grove and other Racine counties. I still have many right here, with Calendonia in the works.
How can I help?
Thanks!

"County to City: Pay Up or Lose Joint Dispatch"

From Racine County Eye:

By Heather Asiyanbi in Breaking · October 25, 2014

"Racine County Friday filed a Notice of Claim against the City of Racine for unpaid bills for joint dispatch service.

"Racine and the villages of Caledonia, Mount Pleasant and Sturtevant in 2010 entered into an agreement with the county for joint emergency dispatch services. Under the terms of the contract, each community makes a quarterly payment for 10 years; on the first of January, April, July and October.

"The city’s payments total $350,474.75 each quarter, but according to the Notice, as of Friday Racine had not yet paid two 2014 invoices and doesn’t intend to pay them.

“'On September 22, 2014, the City stated its position that although it too was satisfied with the services delivered under the contract, it does not intend to pay two outstanding quarterly invoices,' the Notice reads."
