Your Monday Morning Physics Lesson...

My friend Kevin just sent me the following video.

You might remember Newton's First Law, something about inertia...objects at rest staying at rest? Very nicely illustrated here and a good way to kick off the week!

Orbs' first law: shut the door before you put the pedal to the floor.

wouldn't be so bad if they were unloading it..

it wasn't a roll door trailer. shoulda had a few load bars to hold things in.

i've stood on mumerous docks and watched some really strange stuff. both with the truck drivers and the fork lift operators...

I worked briefly at the JC Penney Catalog Outlet warehouse in Waukesha. I watched many a forklift operator load trailers. Some of them were nuts. I also once watched an order picker climb up onto the second tier of racks (rather than wait for a forklift operator), push a boxed, cabinet sewing machine out and onto the concrete floor below, slap a shipping tag on the box, load it onto a dolly, and put it on the towline for shipping.

That's WAY too funny!!

You should see the fork lift drivers at where I work. They're crazy! One guy had units stacked up so high on his forks that it was inches from the ceiling. The load shifted. Guy floors it to the the nearest wall to straighten the stack out-the top half goes THROUGH the wall!! What a nice hole it made.

Do you think maybe Bubu didn't know what those wooden blocks were for in the back of the trailer? Or maybe the strap connected to the trailer door? At least when they came out they were in 2 nice neat rows.
Now if you pardon me, I need to go change my pants. I had an accident laughing so hard.
