Pictures from the Lake Pt. 2

Last Tuesday, I was out enjoying the fabulous weather that were having that day. While I was cooking up some brats and burgers on the grill, I was thinking about the pictures I took of the lake. I was curious to know how much ice and snow had melted in a weeks time. Here's my answer...Impressive!

The big muddy piles of snow along Pershing Drive are slowly dwindling, too.

Oh my, that looks mighty cold me me. I'll take my snakes (non-poisoness ones, that is).

Orbs, I saw those big muddy piles of snow and they certainly aren't appealing

It was 75 degrees out that day when I took those pictures, Beejay.

I swear that lake is always freezing. However, there have been times when it has been quite bearable.
Always pretty, and always greatful to you Drew for posting pictures of that beautiful lake.

Mary, my son likes to swim in the lake. I don't know how he does it, but the water is always too cold for me. And yes, I have future plans to take more lake pictures!

I used to swim in the lake too. Had a great time. Now the fecal bacteria levels make that not such a smart idea. Milwaukee, Racine and Chicago use it as a storm runoff cesspool. What a shame, what a crime.
