Still Tasty... Keep it, or Toss it

How long can that bottle of ketchup stay in your fridge before it goes bad? This site lists all kind of foods and how to keep them fresh longer, as well as when to get rid of them. If you have a question, click on the particular picture, and a whole list of stuff appears.............WHAT A GREAT SITE!

Very cool website. I've bookmarked it.

I was hospitalized with food poisoning from a restaurant once... not funny stuff.

I always feel that when in doubt, throw it out. But sometimes... you are counting on using something (like that well sealed can of pumpkin) and it is past the "best by" date.

I used it...had to toss some vinegar. And I thought that stuff lived forever!

I bookmarked it, too. I'm sure my ketchup is over 6 months old. Tough.

Thank you SER.. very informative site.. I found some tortillas that were green.. threw them out only to get told that they were the avacado version.

Sorry, but I don't need no website to tell me if anything is the frig is going bad. I have my own system: If it stinks and mushy, and some form of brown in color or has little green things on it, and the kids won't eat it.....I toss it.
